Capital Care, Inc. is a company that recognizes that each person is unique. To continue in our mission of providing quality health care services, Capital Care's day programs aim to facilitate the development of the participants' skills, while providing a welcoming and stimulating environment.
Capital Care Day Services welcomes all persons. Our scope of rehabilitation is focused on serving persons with ID/DD, and Pervasive Developmental Disorders, such as Autism. We develop a systematic person-centered approach with the collaboration of the person, the family members, their support team and our team of professionals. Our aim is to facilitate our persons in their journey of attaining their individual goals.
Although we are primarily community based, we do have two fixed sites (buildings). We ensure that these sites are neat, welcoming, accessible and versatile to meet the needs of the participants and their programs.
The Snoezelen Room. Our brand new sensory stimulating environment is state of the art and allows for relaxation in a non-threatening space. Systematic exposure in this room can allow a person to experience self-control, autonomous discovery, and exploration-achievement.
The computer room is equipped with age appropriate educational software and employment databases and sites.
Our objective is to advocate and promote community inclusion while providing an array of well rounded services and opportunities.
